Ipod vs mp3 player........... [Archive]

So i need some music at work really bad!! I was going to go with ipod but i heard you have to actually "buy" all the songs u want to put on it...i was also told that with an mp3 player i can take songs off my limewire pro and put them on there no problem... any input would be helpful!!!! thanks

zune FTW. i believe you can do the same thing with limewire songs on an ipod too though.

What kind of phone do you have? I know I use my blackberry as my MP3 player. Works wonders. I also use it to stream Slacker.com (streaming free HQ music)
Second - please do yourself a huge favor and get rid of limewire ASAP. A lot of bad shit comes from that. Start to look into Torrents if you feel like it.Much safer.

lime wire screwed up my computer before , stupid viruses. I like using my blackberry and my ipod, no problems with putting on music other than itunes, but it wouldn't let me use the itunes songs my wife bought for her ipod

ipod sucks, mp3 player good

I like my ipod touch, but only because it has a wifi. Cheapo MP3 players are easier to use. Either way, download Media Monkey its great for transferring music.

You can search for torrent files at sites such as demonoid.com

I likedmy iPod classic and touch more then the Sony mp3 player I had. Then I got the iPhone. And I love it. I use torrents to I'd like a demonoid invite if it's not to much trouble. Limewire screwed up my computer more times hen I can count. I would never use it. And you can add music files fr kazaa to iTunes

As Nick mentioned grab them off a Torrent. Quickest way to do these things.

I would say get an ipod touch. The wifi is nice, I listen to Pandora at work all day long on the wifi. You can also download a ton of apps on it. Some are useful tools, others are games. So you get a mini hand-held gaming system and a good mp3 player.

I have an iphone, if I lost it today I would immediately go out and buy another one. Well worth it.

Download a program called Vuze. Just ask Foureyedford how well it works. We got 6 gb of music in one night. Really a neat torrent program!

Well you have to put them in itunes first. You just need to downoad itunes which is free.
