Fastest LS1 period, well there is a couple of 8.50's in the ARE car and Ronnie Duke, a few upper 8's from the Eastside Performance crew and then of course numerous 9's.

what's that for the lt1's? only ONE 8 second pass? and the car only did it ONCE? I know Chris had alot more in his car when he had all issues sorted out, but woulda coulda shoulda ;)

10.50 @ 128 is the fastest Heads/cam car:devil

9.88 @ 144 is the fastest 6 Speed LS1.

Let's come back to reality. Nobody is going to be forgetting about the LS1 any time soon. And just because one guy gets his dragster to run 8s doesnt somehow imply that LT1s are going to beat LS1s; because of the fact that this run is not representative of what your average LT1 owner is going to get compared to your average LS1 owner.

It's awesome that an LT1 ran 8s, but I think it's bogus when LT1 fans attach this "LS1 competition" to the achievement.
