Finally done with school !

I graduated with my Criminal Justice degree last Thursday and the last grade I was waiting for was posted today. The last two semesters were the hardest taking 6 classes each semester and working fulltime. Luckily I have and understanding wife and daughter who supported me even though I didn't have much spare time, and the weekends were usually spent doing homework. I graduated with honors and ended up with a 3.63 GPA. It was hard but in the end it was worth it, I hope anyway. :goof Took 3 years to get my 2 year degree but I also took an extra 18 credits for recruit school/certifiability, to try to give myself an advantage, ended up with 84 all together.

It's has been nice being done the last week and I've actually been working on my 64.:headbang

I had a couple of false starts. 1 semester in 94 and 1 class in 01, but it was a few conversations with an acquaintance in the "industry" along with the encouragement/support of my wife that got me to go for it finally. Started in aug 06 and kept after it.

I really think that going back after you get a little older makes you appreciate more and take it more seriously. Based on my experience with some of the younger people just out of high school during my day classes:goof
