Conan is alright, but Leno is better. On the other hand Jimmy Fallon is just plain awful. I watched him the other night and he seemed nervous as hell like he'd never been on stage before. On top of that he wasn't even a little funny.

I used to watch it almost every day at the end of H.S. through college but haven't kept up the last couple years. I'm sure Conan will have his own writers but the show will be slightly different in an earlier time slot with less off the wall stuff that could offend or confuse people who are used to Leno (older people or people with a different sense of humor). Which means to me, I doubt it will be as funny as it used to be.

I like both...Conan will almost certainly be toning down his act for the earlier slot, so I doubt he'll have the same appeal as he's had to this point.

Leno always had an easy-going style I appreciated...he follows a formula; some slick, some obscure, some obvious, and some duds...and yes, the lame jokes are there for a purpose. But he was a good interviewer too...always enjoyed his guest.

It was exactly like "Late Night" Same band. Same brand of comedy. Even Andy Richter was back.

Good first show. Only annoying thing was having Richter mic'd the whole time so after every joke there is one really loud laugh over the audience... besides that it was a great first show. Now we'll see if he has had to clean up his jokes at all for the earlier crowd.
