Friend of mine went up north somewhere they do a rally cross event last weekend. Looks like a fun event to shoot so I thought I would share his gallery from there.

Yeah it happened so fast though that he did not get time to up his shutter speed, great shot though!

dood i think my golf has a chance :goof Bob has quite the facility out there and the town is all for what he does which is awesome. I have many many laps out there on the motocross track.

my and my buddies go there all the time and race. It is a blast. great pics, mine don't ever turn out that good. Those pics are from the pro rally on saturday, I do the one on sunday when anyone can go out and do it. It is a blast and very addicting.

all great shots....but they dont look that clear / crisp.....esp for a 24-105 L

what body? did he or the website compress them that much?

Take a look at the iso, he had it set to 50 which drug down his shutter speeds. Further down the line you can see where he switched over to a higher shutter/iso combination.

He has a 1DMKiin and a 40D, I think all these shots were with the 40D. Looks like he switched over to the 70-200 f/2.8L IS one point as well.

So yeah, just a simple matter of not getting enough light into the camera.
