If the converter you have isnt anti-balloning im guessing should really only spray a low shot?Its a v8 with a 2800-3k stall speed.Trying to play it safe even though its not for my car lol.:durr

Depends how much HP the car is making already and a BBC or SBC. or whatever. They just dont like the big hits where the RPM jumps up real hard. Where the Trans pump has to pump all the fluid in that short time span through the system.
Then youll start hearing the conveter start ringing/noises and its toast. I had a Hughes 2500 conveter, behind a street stip cam 11.1 BBC 427 and Hughes said Dont hit it over a 150, especially on a heavier car it will go out on ya.

i never had much luck with cheap convertors holding up with ANY size shot.save yourself a trans rebuild and buy a good convertor...
