Nope, love the way it looks the way it sits. I am a Mopar guy, and my favorites were the E bodies. To me it reminds me of the shakers they put on those cars, maybe thats what drew me to it? Like a Challenger or Cuda, only a Mustang:rolf

And if I put the stripes on the shaker, they would always be off one way or the other, since it's not static like the hood, this is a functional ram air shaker system, it moves under load, and I am sure it never returns to the same position perfectly all the time.

your car looks sweet as hell i love the shaker just the way it is. and the micky's fill the wheel well VERY nicely.. if i had a stang instead of the TA i would build it like yours...maybe just diff colors... black and flat black or silver... either way your car is SWEET!

It's actually a functional Ram Air system, gives me a pound of boost, and awesome sound, which is what I was looking for mostly. It had to get de-tuned again, as I don't want any more HP until I get forged. Once (if) I get forged, it's over 500HP the way it sits, without changing the pulley even. The plan is to build everything to run the high HP when I get forged 1st, so the expense is more spread out. Lots of people go forged, get the high HP, and then can't do anything with it because they don't have the suspension or fuel, well, all that's taken care of in my car. Truetrac diff, Moser 31 spline axels, dual GT pumps, adjustable shocks, upper and lower control arms with relocation brackets, stickey mickeys, it's all there. Forged one day, when, who knows, lol.

I did. I had an 05 SRT-4 at the same time as this car. I have also owned a 71 Challenger and a 73 Duster, both 340 4 speed cars. If I could afford another E body, I would have one.

It is actually, very good eye!!! Saleen is working on the problem to fix it, and Brenspeed will be coming to pick up the car with their trailer and taking it back to their shop to get it perfect once Saleen gets their new fix in place (they are moving to a different supplier for the piece that is not perfect from what I have been told). I am telling you, they are awesome to work with:thumbsup

It is a stock Saleen Dark Horse. They are pretty rare, and came with 620 "saleen" horsepower.:rolf

It now has stock motor mounts Ry. The back needs to be tucked in as Rocket Power noticed, but it will never look like the Saleen pictured, that looks more like a scoop than a ram air shaker. Perhaps it's a different hood??

wow your not the only one around with that shaker and blower set up...was at the pine lawn show and the yellowish orange color with black strips and the shaker was black...look alright...new what it was when he hit lovers lane going north you could deff hear the sizzler noise as he mashed it to the floor....so i'm sure you will be seeing that stang at shows....

I'm thinkin his is also attached to the engine. if its attached to the hood, when the engine twists under torque, it could potentially damage the shaker or the hood....

Shaker looks good. The stripes though, IMO have to go. Not sure if that's a paint job or a sticker job. Just not my thing at all.

Regardless. Shaker looks good. WHat would it look like if you took that grill out of it? I think without it, it would look a million times better.

Yeah, they will, one way or the other, because trust me, it's really annoying when you have to sit there and stare at it while you're driving. Brenspeed will be coming to pick it up, soon hopefully, but they are waiting on Saleen to get it right first. It's weird, some fit awesome, and some are just like mine. Lots of the people who have it just like mine don't seem to care, but to me it looks like ass the way it is, and it's something that HAS to be fixed.

Because it actually attaches to the blower. They re-mount the throttle body to the rear and the whole 9 yards. There is no more air intake under my hood, this IS the air intake. It's not like this vents to a CAI type system, this is a real ram air system.
