"Would you allow or want your daughter to work at Hooters?" Neal Jameson, a Brookfield father and youth pastor, asked aldermen.

He said the Hooters employee handbook states the chain "is based on female sex appeal and the work environment is one in which joking and sexual innuendo . . .  is commonplace."

Jameson compared Hooters to soft-porn, expressing concern it could trigger registered sex offenders allowed to eat there to commit new crimes.

"We're opening the door here, guys, to moral degradation," he said.

I don't love or hate the food. It's just meh. It's usually the scenary that makes it worth wild. Plus they usually get the PPV fights.

I just hope they do a better job of hiring then the one in Greenfield. Last times I was in there I found out they made those outfits in sizes they really shouldn't.

The Tilted Kilt in Madison, WI was darn nice too. Food there is better than Hooters and the outfits are far more attractive.

Finally got around to going to Hooters for lunch today. I went with three female co-workers.

First off, the wait was 20 min. Which I guess was kind of expected. It was packed. We waited at least that long. Manager apologized.

Then our food took forever. The waitress (who was not overly friendly, I'm assuming because I was with women) finally came over after 20 min and said the kitchen was backed up and she didn't know why, but the food was going to be a bit longer. We asked how long and she went and checked. She came back and said it was actually going to be right now.

5 or 6 min later the food finally came. One gal was missing a wing and the waitress said she would bring another on out. Then another gal with us got ribs that were cold all the way through.

The wings I thought were good, but not exceptional.

Finally the manager came over to apologize again for the wait and the poor food. She gave us a gift certificate for 50 wings! That's $29.99. That's how it should be. You mess up and you make up for it without even being asked. She also took the charge for the ribs off for my co-worker.

So all in all, the experience sucked. But they made up for it. Hopefully next time it will be a better experience.
