So I bought this program a few months back (Express Burn) and it has worked perfectly. A few weeks ago, I bought and installed a new drive that had DVD burning capabilities (Pioneer DVR-116D) and of course since then have been doing nothing but burning DVDs and that also works perfectly (using DVDFab.) Now I want to burn a cd again for the first time with the new drive and it will not recognize the blank cd! I tried burning multiple different albums (from my mp3 collection) and not having any luck. Not very good with PC's...can anyone offer some help?

Thanks,
Ben

Try a different program to burn the cd. Or reinstall the software and see if that works.

You might need to update the software or the driver for the burner itself. If you read the package on just about any blank cd it says that you may need to do that especially when using a pioneer drive. Pioneer drives had a lot of fatal errors with blank cds, it even says it could ruin your drive if you have the wrong software or driver for the burner.

I'm laughing extremely hard at this.

whats so funny about it? have you ever read the label on a package of blank cdrs?

quoted from the article: "The media bears an ominous label, warning you not to use it in older DVD drives as they may be damaged by such use."

Considering his burner was released late last year. I doubt that its considered an "older DVD drive"
