Just picked him up from the Nothern Illinois Pug Rescue. 12 y/o, nearly blind and overweight by almost 100% (yes, he has a glandular problem, lol) he's kind of looks like Jabba the hut. Full of personality and tries his darndest to keep up on a slow half-mile walk...with meds, diet modification, and exercise, my wife and I hope to get him to around 20lbs by mid summer...he should be ~ 15 ideally.

he'd make roxy sick...nothing but fat and grease under that skin, lol.

As a matter of fact, I should "thank" you since it was dog sitting rox that lead meg to conclude that we should adopt an older dog, lol.

Cool dog. Never owned one but heard their personality is great! I know the 2 at GLD seem pretty cool.

Also really nice to see people adopt older dogs.

Cool dog. Never owned one but heard their personality is great! His is...he's a total ham.

Also really nice to see people adopt older dogs. It's funny because for a beginer dog owner, it's really the way to go...but I understand why people don't. We figure we've got two young healthy dogs, so we had room for good ol' dudley.

Why does his tongue stick out like that ?I tell people (jokingly) that he had a stroke. That's unlikely as he can control the tongue well enough to drink, etc.

I think it's because he's got a big tongue and a little mouth really...and after all these years, that's just were it likes to be.
