I hope they sue the asses off of them. Talking to the scammers on the phone trying to be put on their do not call list was annoying.

I read that in Ill, 4 different companies were sued and lost big time for violating the no call law and for selling fraudulent warranties.

Coming from someone who deals with the people that unfortunately buy these and get fucked over.DO NOT EVER buy one.stay wth factory supplied extended warranties.Like they always say if it sounds to good to be true,it is.

I've never claimed to be the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but I just wonder how people can get duped into buying these things.

I asked them which of my cars they are calling about....my 97 Ranger with 169000 miles on it, my 89 ranger with 154000miles on it or my mustang that hasnt had a factory warrenty in over 3 years......they usually shut up then

I turn my warrenty calls into obsene phone calls. I love those calls its a good way to blow off some steam from the work day. And they can't go after you since they were the one who called you. Good times in deed.

I get about 3 calls per week on my work phone. It annoys the shit out of me.

They have called my personal cell phone, my work cell phone, and my work office phone. I have had several calls per cell phone, and was able to directly talk to only one person to tell them to never call again, and the other ones, when I pressed the key to talk to someone, would either stay on hold or disconnect.

I have no idea what car I have owned that they would want to put a warranty on....they would be stupid as hell to warranty my Eclipse -- especially for drivetrain :rolf. My 87 Yota 4Runner had a quadrillion miles on it, my 85 RX-7 was 18-years old when I sold it, my 91 Talon had almost 300,000 miles on it when scrapped, and my 92 GVR4 has 200,000 miles on it now...again....its a DSM -- they would be stupid as hell to warranty my car selection. :stare

Either way, it is a pile of crap. If I really wanted an extended warranty, I would purchase a NEW vehicle, and have it included with the vehicle.

I've been getting those calls for weeks! I answer the
extended warranty people and hit #1:

"Milwaukee Police Dep, pause for operator and ask if they
are aware they are calling the emergency number?"

Have not gotten a call since but tried other tactics before
they stopped like trying to buy extended warranty for my
1967 Pontiac tempest with a SOHC strait 6 and only 30k
original miles.....hung up on me. also tried to get warranty
on my three matching 1970 Caprice Classics, all green and
all have authentic 1970 baby moon hub caps, yet another
hangup but they called back later.

I got a call and they asked what car I have. I said you should know you called me so I told them I have a Ferrari Enzo and there is no warrenty. They said sorry for calling and they will take me off the list. Never got a call since
