I've had some Fords but havent been crazy about em.
Here is my 175k mile DOHC pushing coolant:

Probably sat in my garage for a few weeks while I worked
on it now and again but now on the road I can say I REALY
like these motor:

The torque they dont have is made up as it tachs up to
6000rpm quickly even in a 4200# Lincoln with 3.08's.
Guys on the Lincoln boards have several over 400k miles.
Cool motor, looks great in street rods with those massive
valve covers.

I think the Modular V8's are some of the most durable engines Ford has ever made. :thumbsup

The massive valve covers remind me of the Boss 9 valve covers, I told a "car guy" that my 4.6 DOHC was a 429 about 3 years ago and he fully believed me. :rolf
