Nice pictures, is the notchback style hatch a GTA feature or is that aftermarket? I've seen GTAs before but never noticed that kind of hatch.

Nice show! Not sure on the notch myself, but still an awesome car for sure!

As for the notchback, supposedly it was an option that was supposed to continue into 89, but was cut short and only a few hundered were made that way. Add to that the option of a 5-speed and you'd have a pretty rare car, but either way, it is still a rare car to begin with!

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, just going off of what I know.

It was a very shortlived option for the 88 model year. We're talking just a couple months that it was available.

It will definetly make those cars one of the more sought after by collectors from the 3rd gens.

Thanks alot guys, I appreciate the comments! Yeah about the notchback, I will be getting a regular GTA hatch and wrap around spoiler. The reason being is that the fiberglass of the notchback has started to warp and get little cracks over the years because of the heat the black paint generates. I have gotten estimates of $500+ plus to fix it, and being 17, I simply do not have the cash to do it, and fix it again because I have been told it will happen again after its fixed. And I do like the look of the regular hatch and wrap around better, and when I can get a complete hatch and spoiler for $150 its a win win. I will definatly be keeping the notchback as long as I have the car though nice and safe.
