I need to ship 4 wheels and need boxes for them. UPS is a rip off so I will avoid that. Any ideas?

Just go to some company with an active shipping and receiving dock and see if they have some boxes they will let you have. Maybe a custom wheel shop might have some left over boxes you could have. U-haul sells boxes too.

What about asking Turtle. He works at Big Bear, I'm sure they receive wheels.

I've wrapped wheels in a bunch of bubble wrap and then plastic shrink wrap. No boxes needed. Never had an issue.

Otherwise they are something like $10 a piece from ups store

I would go to a tire shop and get some real rim boxes.

the mailbox store near Target on highway 100 and national. I buy all my shipping boxes from them. Add the cost of the materials u had to buy into the shipping cost
