Don't go to grad school unless you can directly advance in your existing job/carreer and they foot the bill. Otherwise, it's mostly a waste of time.

I agree. I recently received my BS in biology and now I am trying to get a job with the Dept. of the Interior. Once employed by the Gov, getting into grad school is cheaper and easier, not to mention that the promotions will be instant.
