4I NOTCH's project is under way. We just picked up the engine from our engine builder yesterday.

It is a 4.030 bore with a 3.85 stroke, which comes out as 393 cubic inches. Sporting some "FLYING J" secret heads, custom HYD roller cam, and real pump gas compression.

It will be stuffed into a 1986 Mustang Notch and in front of a c4. After the combo is together, it will be making it's way over to OTE design for a 10 point.

The engine has been on the dyno, but we will keep the horsepower numbers on the down low for now! He will be looking to run the other pump gas NA combo's in the area when done! It will be a nice addition to the OTE crew.

I know a blothru/YSi/4eyed car that should lay the smack down this year too... :shades

Let's see 3 YSi'ed, 1 turboed, and 1 wicked N/A powered--all fox bodys.
I wonder what that will sound like cruising down HWY......

All I know is, I call dibs on the middle of the pack! Haha!

Well, when you come to your senses and actually do it (this summer) I have the parts to do it. It will be a nice respectable 4 eye again. :)

What are you building?
just a SBF Pump gas Street car. No cage, 5 speed taking a car that needed a lot of work, replaced everything basically on it! Just looking forward to driving it again!

I don't see why a 100 shot wouldn't. The only thing you hace working against you is the speed density. If you were to toss a carb and intake on it, it wouldn't be a problem at all!:thumbsup

All I had on my stock 302 was 100 shot and it was fine.

I ws going to say you could run more than 100hp, does that have the forged pistons? I ran 150hp on my 89' almost every weekend for a couple yrs...

Yeah the motor is strong enough for a bigger shot however, like I said before, the speed density is hit or miss. It either works with mods (if you're lucky) or it absolutely hates mods!

Your right, with the SD the engine has no way of measuring the extra air going in with the nitrous. I would think though that as long as the A/F is right it would be ok?
