Wanted - Garmin Nuvi (where to buy?)

Hey BCM'rs,

I am in need of a GPS unit and my Brother-In-Law rides for Garmin Chipotle bicycle team. We are going to France to watch him race in July and I have to drive the rental car, SO...I need a Garmin.

I did some research and I think I want a 1,000 series Nuvi. I also need the Euro mini SD car info.

Anybody have one? Anybody selling one? Anybody work somewhere they get commission? Anybody work somewhere and want to sell me one anyway?

check newegg.com they always have them on sale and as the shell shocker deal atleast once a week.

Walmart.com always has some pretty good prices. I'm not sure about the 1000 series.

I bought a refurb off of amazon dirt cheap awhile back. It came with a 90 day warranty and was packaged like new from garmin. The only thing that wasn't "brand new" was the price.:thumbsup

I have a GPS with Navigon 8100 loaded onto it for 120, brand new.

alot of car rental places have gps already and can rent them for $30.00- 50.00 dollar with car rental.

oh plus don't buy off ebay. garman won't warrenty it .says right in their warrenty papers. if bought a auction.so you have to go though the company you brought it from.
