The Vics run ~16.0's. I don't know about the other stuff. I only ever raced a police interceptor Vic.

factory PI crown vics are such turds. With new cars with V6's coming from the factory with nearly 300hp, you think that departments would step up the game with their choice in cruisers.

They are probably the slowest of the Police packages out there. However, they have the most space for Radio Equipment, Biggest back seat for the crooks, and largest trunk for the all the gear the officers have to carry. That doesn't help the car either all that stuff probably adds 500 lbs to the already bloated Vic.

We have a couple of police officers on the Crown Vic forum I am on, and their departments are switching to Impalas and Chargers from the Crown Vics. Most have been reporting back that the Chargers are dropping Transmissions at 25k miles. And the Impalas and Chargers are very cramped once all the Computers,radios, and Prisoner cages go in.


Besides.... No one can beat a Motorola....:banana :rolf

at gld they use to call it beat the heat and we built a house for an officer from elkorn who raced in beat the heat only he had a monte carlo with a 427 in it and was on the ploice side it pretty cool set up

yea, when i raced the high school program a few times, the winner of the nights brackets got to go up against a cop for the last race of the night
