Not sure If anybody has tried this stuff yet. But Pepsi has introduced for a limited time. Pepsi Throwback & Mountain Dew Throwback. Its made with real Sugar vs the High Fructose Corn Syrup. Picked up a 12 pack of the Dew the other day and it is Awesome. The flavor is very clean, no syrupy after taste. I heard its only gonna be around till June 13th. Im stocking up.

Drinking the old school Pepsi right now, actually. I tried my first one yesterday and I agree, it's noticeably different and much better IMO. I wish it was a permanent change.

hmm, may have to try that. Watched a show on the two the other day. I guess they are both equally bad for you, sugar just costs more.

I think it's made with beet sugar, it doesn't taste like cane sugar.

I definitely like it a lot better. It doesn't taste bitter like corn syrup.

Tried the Pepsi, it was good. I have to try the Mountain Dew, as I love Mountain Dew with corn syrup, the sugar one must be heavenly.

Personal experience?

Yes, but not my teeth. A shop I worked at hired this dude, who was a lil shady to begin with, but his grill was ffffuuuccckkkeeeddd up. Like a bad case of the meth mouth. I did some investigating (turns out I know dudes cousin) and found out dude wasn't a meth addict, just your average fuckup with a sugar addiction. In an eight hour work day he would drink two 2-liter bottles of Dew. And he had the teeth to prove it.

Just FYI.. I went back to Pick and Save to get more Throwback and it was mysteriously gone. The pepsi guy was there stocking and Pick & Save made him pull it all off the shelves and return it to the warehouse. I went and spoke to the manager and he said because it wasn't an item in Pick and Save's computer systems they are not allowed to sell it in the stores. He said they are planning on bringing it back but unsure when it will be available.

Just go to Target, I know the one in Delafield and north Waukesha has it. Fsck PicknSlave. I wish they'd open a SuperTarget here, I'd never have to go to another Roundy's nightmare again.

A throwback to the pre Cuba embargo days when sugar was reasonbly priced ?

A throwback to the days before the ADM & Cargill G.R.E.E.D Corp's. ?

A throwback to the days when sugar was cheaper than corn ?

And last but not least a throw back to a natural ingredient ?
Some believe high fructose corn syrup is partly responsible for Americs's obesity.

I took the Pepsi challenge with the Mexican Coke and American Coke and didnt really care one way or the other. Pepsi please ? Nah make mine a Coke's.
I wonder if the sugar soda's are just temporary novelty or if ethanol has skewed corn prices so badly that high fructose corn syrup users are going to find saving using the real mccoy.
Anyway, repeal the embargo.

we have it, my brother tried it then asked me to before he would tell me what he thought of it.

I think it is terrible, but then again i drink 2-3 20oz bottles a day of Dew. I need it to keep going everday.
