View Full Version : Anyone seen "The Joker" around town?

So my wife and her friend were visiting a tattoo parlor on Friday. In walks a guy who is dressed like the Joker... Heath Ledger style. I guess we're talking greasy curly hair, green highlights, purple suit coat, the whole works. He was made up like Joker as well. Turns out, the guy actually got the Joker get-up tattooed onto his face....all of it. He even went as far as to cut himself repeatedly next to his mouth so as to get the scars just like the Dark Knight character as well.

According to the shop owner, this person directs horror flicks and also was involved in some drama at Southridge a few weeks ago because he was freaking the shit out of people

Anyone ever seen or heard about this fella before? I'm genuinely intrigued. They said he couldn't have looked more like the real deal and it was downright frightening.

I love tattoos and unusual appearances, but going that far is just tooooo much, IMO. I just saw a documentory about EXTREME body modification, and honestly, it was kinda disturbing. I have tattoos, and a body piercing, but nothing so crazy I look like a weirdo....this joker guy must have issues.

Hello and welcome to BCM. Please elaborate if you'd be so kind. What makes this fella tick? Would you trust him with your children? Why did he do it (obsession with the movie character?)?

And if you could provide any photos or a link to a website where we may see some, it would be excellent. My wife and her friend were 100% "moved" by this gentleman. I thought the role in the move was so dark and so well-played that I am genuinely interested in this subject.

I think he is a certified welder. He runs a sub-arc welder doing welds on large cylindrical parts that turn on rollers. From what I hear, he is a good worker and very normal to talk to. I have only talked to him once and it was hard to look in his eyes and not stare at his face. It was right after he cut his face and it was all infected and oozing.

I can't help but look at doing thatyour face like I look at the "Pogs" phase.

Everyone remembers pogs - and like so many other products that phase in and out of the lives of people in general, they came and went. Maybe they were around for a couple years? If that?

http://www.rankopedia.com/CandidatePix/8276.gif

Some day, that guy is going to go "What in the hell did I do to my face?"

You'd think there would have to be some kind of psychological problem, regardless of how nice the guy is.

moels
04-20-2009, 09:52 AM
I was thinking the same thing. The Joker is already kind of "old hat". He was big when the movie was first out in theaters and even on dvd, but it faded kinda fast. This guy will look like this for the rest of his life, but that is his choice. I would think there might be at least a lack of a thought process here.

I know a few RX7 guys with rotors tattoo'd on them.

I was considering getting a Rat Fink driving a Focus on my arm when I had my last Focus project car, and now I found the tat I really want- the Thrush Mufflers woodpecker.

His name is Mr. Horsepower. I've thought about that, too. The things stopping me are: "It's woody wood pecker!!!" and I already have two bird tattoos. Car tattoos are fine. Any tattoo on your face is a bad idea.

I have this from elbow to wrist on my left arm.

I went and looked at the trailer out of pure curiosity and gotta say the music even sounds like that used of the last batman. I watched the features disc and they showed how some of the tracks were created and darkened up and his music in his trailers has that same kinda feel to them

As for the ridiculous tattooing......well

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/01/cavtat_450.jpg

I have the Olds rocket worked into a tattoo on my right forearm.......it's kinda hidden in the design, and no one sees it unless it is pointed out. Like I said, I love tattoos, on my left arm I have two big ones that almost extend wrist to shoulder, one more in the middle, and the whole side is covered, but to do that to one's face!? A facial piercing can be taken out, make-up can be washed off, but to have that permanently etched onto your face........I can't handle that. And yeah, what happens if he decides he doesn't want it anymore? Or gets fired/laid off and has to go job-hunting again? Then what!? :stare

While what he's done to his face isn't anything close to any tattoo I would ever think of, I don't think the guy is insane. If that's insane then Tyson should be locked away in a mental ward... odd tattoo on his face... and bites peoples ears off... At least "The Joker" is only harming his own life/image/whatever.

Plus where would the world be without people like this to criticize. Unique? Yes. Odd? Definitely. Insane? Nah.

If you told me that you yourself has sex with dead people, that would surprise the fuck out of me because I have known you for years.

However, this is where perception comes into play. I don't know this guy, and we ran in this guy on the street and you said, "See that guy, he was busted for being for fucking a corpse." I would look at you and say,"That doesn't surprise me at all, dude LOOKS like he is kinda fucked in the head."

I saw him today walking to his car... He left early to go possibly to a Doctors Appt.

Sorry I can't take pictures in where I work at. So someone else is going to have to play for points.

This guy is on the top 10 list of Milwaukee freaks. How could you expect this thread to die?

Does he Twitter? I don't. Shit I barely have a concept of what Twipper is, but a lot of the kids are doin it these days; and I would learn how to twitter if he is a twitterer.

I sent this thread to my buddy who is a huge horror movie freak and is the drummer for a death metal band, right away he goes "That's Nuna, my band has a song in his movie. Dude is a trip". So I ask him about the guy and he says he's totally cool. I'm intrigued with this guy's story, would love to find out what makes him tick.
I could see where a Death Metal dude would think he was cool. So do I, but I just like weird stuff anyways. He could probably work where I work and fit right in.

My dad has a Super Bee / Scat Pack emblem tatt'd on his arm.

I know a few RX7 guys with rotors tattoo'd on them.

I was considering getting a Rat Fink driving a Focus on my arm when I had my last Focus project car, and now I found the tat I really want- the Thrush Mufflers woodpecker.

I actually work with him too. We work at Bucyrus International in South Milwaukee, WI. Honestly I think he's crazy. Here's the story from what I've heard...a group of his friends paid him $100,000 to do this...At first he cut his face to make the scars but it didn't heal the way he wanted it to so he drove down to Chicago(?) to get his face branded like they do for livestock. He tattooed his eyes black, his face white, and his cheeks and lips red. He also used to have longer hair but cut it and dyed it green like the joker. I'm attaching a picture for all of you to see now. But all in all I hear he's a really nice guy..haven't really talked to him.

I wouldn't even do it for that amount or an even bigger amount. What's the point in having all that money and looking like a freak...Just saying.
