again a HUGE thanks to tom for getting it done with all the problems he had with the rusty ass exhaust i had to run to speed inc. and back up by tom with a new Y pipe mine was rusted to shit and it could not be reused. all in all i am VERY happy with the results of the heads and work that was done.

tom even took extra time to detail the engine bay and fix a couple things that i didn't even know was wrong and he also gave me a couple band clamps so that my exhaust wont rust out again.. :headbang and kept me updated on the progress threw text messages

is it normal for the piston's to look the way they do? how would say that they are considering its got 70k miles?

yeah thats normal carbon, there wasnt much build up which indicates burning oil if there is.

thats good to know... im already thinking of getting a bigger cam lol now that i got the heads with better valve springs..i want more low end power and more overall power but be streetable....probably won't be till next year tho. any recomendations? i will also be doing the suspension and torque arm..this summer...and i really need a set of slicks to see what it can do at the track. hopefully low low 12's or even maybe high 11's i had a 12.5 at 112mph on street tires last year.

yeah.. i wanna build the trans with a new stall and stuff i think i will keep the 10 bolt till i blow it up..then i will upgrade that. i really need to get a set of slick so i can see what the TRUE power really is. and see what it does at the track.



anybody got a set of used slicks they want to sell? i only go once or twice a year so they don't have to be that new... got 17x11 rear rims....
