so here I am....sitting at work.

a/c wont turn on, and the heat is stuck on, full blast. My office is at 91 degrees right now.

I cant leave my office since I have only this IP authorized for uploads, and i cant VPN since my laptop is broke

this sucks :(

I couldn't do it. I'd be either going home or to the store to buy fans.

I have a peltier cooler in my basement... cost $14. Hook it up to a computer power supply, strap a PC heatsink to one side and strap the other to the back of your neck and I'll bet it'll keep you nice and cool. I got the cold side down to 21 degrees Fahrenheit when I was playing around with it a month or two ago. Was thinking about trying to cool a CPU with it... but I decided I didn't want to deal with all of the anti-condensation stuff you have to do.

Lol, you know your a hard core computer nerd when you hook yourself up to the cooling system, lol.

Have you tried messing with the thermostat? Put a hot cup of coffie under it to make it think its hot enough to turn the heat off?
