I decided to take a ride last night, camera in the car. Right before sundown, I stopped by Bender Park and got a few of the heap....

Reminds me of one of my dad's cars when I was a kid. His was red with the white top and I loved that car.

Great looking car. Alot like mine that I had in high school but in way better shape. I love the Supreme bodystyle compared to the 442.

Someday I hope to pick up another one.

Love the shots man, #2 is a little washed but most likely because you metered for the car specifically. If you get stuck with that again just back off half a stop and you got it :thumbsup

The car is hot too :banana1:

Thanks for the compliments and feedback.

Scott - I took your advice on #2, reduced it 1/2 a stop, and reposted it. Thanks for the tip!

I'm not sure how I feel about #4 yet. It is a LR preset that I have been messing with but in this case, it makes the car look artificial IMO.

Looks great. I remember seeing a Cutlass in that color at the Hot Rod Power Tour in 05' and it had color keyed Torque Thrust 2's with a polished/chrome lip. Looked really sharp, got a pic of it somewhere.

Somewhere at my folks' house, there it a set of SSI wheels buried that I'd like to put on. I also have a black vinyl top from Year One that needs to be installed as soon as I can find someone looking for a side job.

Great looking car. Is the hood black or have some kind of two tone?

It's a new (used) hood that is just in black primer for now. I need a bit of body work done and have to hunt down a few new panels that can't be repaired correctly. I figure for now, it's a great running/driving car that I can enjoy while I fix it up. The important thing was that it was pretty damn solid for being a WI car its whole life....

Those are great. I my favs are #1 and #3.

I would try cloning out the reflection of the street light in #3 if possible. then that shot would be perfect

Thanks, Nick. I did notice that lightpole as well. I will try to see if I can do anything with it later once I'm fooling around with LR again...

Thanks for the compliments. I have a Canon 50D. I'm only about 18 months into D-SLR and every time I go out, whether it's alone or with friends, I learn something new.
