I need a price for a heater core for an '05 GTO, and curious as to how much work/time it would take to swap it.

I now have zero tools at all, so I'll be looking for the aide of a person looking to do a side job.... I could live without it, but i'd rather not have a ghetto 4-year old car with no heat.

Let me know

Well, you do have SOME tools:rolf Great seeing you last night and what a weird coincidence that you caught me the 1st day out with Patty.

a screwdriver and a pair of pliers is good for bypassing the core, not so much for disassembly! I'll just drop the GTO off at your house, and borrow the taurus for the day. btw BOB, call or PM me so I have your number plz.

I'd have to get ACTUAL prices on OEM core tomorrow, but using the Alldata prices parts and labor for about $550. It is 6.6 hours according to Alldata.

When my heater core on my camaro went (92,v6) It took me 12 hours in the dead of winter with multiple curse words and more then a few beers

Yeah I kind of thought that as well but I figured it was only four years old so it could go either way
