Here's the deal...my 12 year old son is starting his Hunter Safety course soon, and on May 30th they have "Field Day". He'll be required to identify a number of different actions; lever, pump, bolt, etc...As well as shoot trap.
I would like to take him out to practice with a shotgun before Field Day, so here's my question.
Does anyone here have a youth model 20ga. I could borrow? I could give you a check for a deposit, or the key to my snowmobile, or whatever you'd like. I'd hate to have to go out and buy one just for this class, but if I have to, I will.

I have a 20 you could borrow Jason, but it's unfortunatly not a youth model. If you end up HAVING to buy, find a used HR single barrel, they can usually be had at Gander for under $100.

If your forced to buy one remember waukesha i believe the expo gun show this weekend!

Thanks for the offer Bob, I may just take you up on it. We're going to Cabela's and Gander right now to check out some guns, and I'll have the boy shoulder a standard and youth model to see how much of a difference there is.

I know Sportsmans in New Berlin has been pretty picked over, but they still had a decent amount of long guns. Might not hurt to check.

I have always been a fan of the Remington 870 express youth. That was the gun I did my class with.

It was, lots of good deals to be had
