I have a '95 Mustang, manual tranny, and was hoping to get your opinion on two shifters that I'm considering. I have it narrowed down to the Pro 5.0 or the MGW for a T5. Please tell me why.

All my cars get a Tri-ax. Of those two I would pick a pro 5.0.

The Pro 5.0 feels tight and crisp.

I like the MGW shifter. It was super tight the first 500 miles or so (dunno) but did loosen up and has been very sturdy. Doesnt rattle and vibrate at idle. Going through the gears you get a "click, click" one click out of gear and one click in. You know where its at during the whole range. The 3rd gear misses are eliminated.
I also like the amount of adjustability in the handle that comes with it. Not only hieght can be adjusted but the left and right angle too which allows you to set it perfectly

I agree, I have that shifter in my car, and it is a firm shift every time....I like it a lot better than the tri axe, which I found that every so often you had to tighten the bolts that hold the damn thing in.....go for the Mgw....It is worth it....

Hell if you want I will even let you see for your self

Thanks for the comments. I knew the MGW had great adjustability but the confirmation of being in and out of gear is making me decide. I'm going to order an MGW.

Order direct or?
