With four miles on it. It's like Easter, but for trailer trash and guido's instead of Christians.

I'm more interested in the GTX in front of it.

Also where the hell did they find that?

poor guy put the car away hoping to retire on it. now the stock market crashes and he figures he can cash in on his "treasure". turns out to be a pile of junk that nobody wants, ROFL!!!

First thing I noticed was the lack of a factory foglight switch, and manual hatch, but wow I would LOVE to get that car.

Jersey, where all Camaro went when new. Once used and trashed out, they went to the trailer park.

Welcome to last year.

Pre-election? Cause I'm cool with that. And the ebay listing was from march of this year. It was relisted and sold two weeks ago.

I stole this:

15k invested with Microsoft in 1985 would be worth 2.9 million dollars today. 15k invested in an IROC Z is today worth about 26k.

If it was a better optioned car and stored properly it would probably have been worth more.

If it was a loaded 87 with a L98 (anniversary year and first year of the 350 TPI) and clean with the stock gatorback tires it would have gone into the 40s anyways.

I agree with the above....

Not a 3rd gen f-body guy but its still pretty cool to find any older car in that kind of shape, stored, etc.....would of been nicer for a more optioned car but the mullet/guido/redneck Camaro jokes are so played out it makes me cringe when reading them. Just like all the folks who try to be clever when posting on Jalopnik.

If that car was in there that long, how long was the Mopar in for? Shouldn't be too hard to find a set of proper rims and tires for that car. This was interesting to see, though. I'm surprised Voodoo Chick hasn't weighed in on this.

It may not be everybody's thing but I'd pay $25K for that car before I paid $25K for about 90% of the cars being offered today by mfgs. Atleast it's a car with some personality to it, and some style. It's not like many 3rd gens with a set of 15x10 Mags on the back and louvers. Some time polishing that car up and it'll be perfect again.

who ever bought it may just keep it the way he bought it...it's a survivor...true and blue...that car is a time capsule...and the mopar had to be in there before 1985...maybe bought it brand new as well and stashed it as well...would love to get a better look at the mopar

I wonder why these guys making the video were so amazed with the 3rd gen but not the mopar sitting in there..... maybe the mopar in there is just totally trashed.... the camera doesnt really show it too much. But if the mopar is found with 4 miles on it it would be worth way more then that 3rd gen

The car ain't my cup of tea, but it is very interesting. I read an article a few years back in Mopar Muscle a similar deal, but the car was a 1976 Dodge Aspen Kit Car. Had like six miles on it. guy kept the thing in a dirt floor shed. barnfinds.com is chock full of shit like this.

I bought my own little "barn find" today; more on that later...

i found an old 1953 sunbeam lawn mower in a west allis garage a few weeks back...the thing was buried...and a little wash and like brand new...we had one when i was a kid at our summer home...so bought it for my brother in Ohio......you never know what you'll find..there are how many barns in wis...you think in a few there isn't an old classic or two waiting to be uncovered....

shit!! That thing's older than me, but it still don't rate the same as a Camaro with four miles on it.

Kinda cool to buy a brand new car for $25k that you can put collector plates on right a way. I'm sure it's going to never be driven though.

Ahh...been there many many times, got excited and thought there was a new, similar site to waste hours getting lost in.
