Anyone wear boots? Yeah those kind..

Im shopping for new boots and want a snake skin style probably round toe nothing like roach killers with a super point. Never owned Dan Post boots before. Are they any good? Got any better suggestions? Do any of you wear boots?

I dont know if you would call what I wear boots, but I wear a pair of Docs. I got about 3 years out of the first pait and about a year out of the ones that I wear now....probably wil be getting another pair soon

snake skin is fancy stuff compared to what i got...i got some basic leather ones from boot depot in waukesha have had them since soph year of high school and no issues use to wear them on a daily basis and they are pretty comfy well to me at least:thumbsup

i have diamond back rattlers and a pair of elephant...you can't go wrong with a nice pair of tony lamas...but you have to take care of them....

Have a plain nice suede pair but always envied (sp?) my older brothers boots. didnt realize they were affordable at all just never looked. he makes big bucks so just assumed they cost stupid money although some would say $300 plus for those boots are stupid money but they wouldnt realize its nothing to see a $1500 price tag on some

I have a pait of tony lamas that are elephant an a pair that are otsrich I love them both an they are super comfy just after u get em twist sie to sie on concrete to give the soul some grip otherwise its like walkin with banan peel shoes

sorry buddy. Grew up in south, love my boots. As for the heel....oh yeah I learned that lesson once or twice already. Especially going from a rainy sidewalk to inside a mall with polished floors.....whooops LOL

i would love to get a pair of ostrich ..but at the time i was looking at them...1300.00 went into my camera equipment instead...but now....i'm looking into them again...honey color, same as my elephant....boots are more comfy then my Reebok's at times...

remember a GOOD pair of boots is going to cost ya $$$$$$$ but well worth every penny...:thumbsup..mine are from 1990's at still look brand new...as far as heel..i think all mine have the tall J heel..

I have a couple old pairs of Dan Posts i bought at Billy Bob's years ago. Must of had them re-soled a couple of times over the years. Don't wear them much lately but they make a good boot.

my pair i paid like 110 for them, hold up very well too poor to afford the ones for 300+, only issue i had was on pure ice they dont grip well besides that have worn them in rain and snow and never fallen

there's a small shop in the FALLS on appleton ave next to POPS CUSTARD...give they a shot.....they have some nice boots...
