does anyone know who would be willing to rent a lens to me for about 7-10 days?

Im going to mexico for a week and looking to rent / borrow one of these if possible ( really looking for a telephoto L lens )

Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS

I looked online....and its like 70-100 bux for a week ( is this norm? )

if any of you have one of these...would you be willing to rent it out to me ( of course, if damaged or whatever, Ill buy it / replace it )

I just want to see if i like it first before I dump over 1k on a lens

thank you in advance

www.borrowlenses.com
or
www.rentglass.com

$70-100 for a week seems normal and damn reasonable IMO.

Isn't there a link around here that Ritz cameras is going out of business. Maybe you can get one cheap from there to purchase

But you really want IS........

Yeah, was just going to say that. I got the 1.4x extender for my 70-200 and i'm kind of pissed. lol It converts to f/4 and my photos show how unstable I am at max zoom. I may end up returning this.

I think anything over 200 needs IS.

Oh I thought you were talking 300mm. With the 200 I have had no problems without IS really.

I get away with my 70-200mm without IS.

Then drink more caffeine dammit!

Seriously though, try shooting at 1/20 @ 200 with no IS

What does IS mean

Image Stabilization. Lets you take shots in lower light and zoomed out without your shots getting blurry
