I predict if Fielder starts eating meat again we may have a chance

I'm going to go with 85 wins...they'll be in a playoff spot chase until the end but doubt that will get them in. If Gallardo is healthy, Parra and Bush step it up they could do better. The pitching is probably not strong enough though.

I agree...its going to boil down to pitching this year....we don't have a go-to guy really to get things done on the mound so it should be interesting. I am rooting for another exciting year for them though!!

They will tear it up until the allstar break and then start falling apart towards the end of the season

97-71 they will be damn good. they have many good players, but as usual it likeothers said the pitching is looking anything but stellar for the length of the season. Hopefully Mark A is going to be looking to spend some coin this summer. :thumbsup

Cubs should win it, they might have a tough time enjoying the regular season...after all, pressure is really on to do something beyond that now. Hope they can handle it :D .

This year will end tragically

Brewers won a Playoff game though, tee hee. Cubs were a better team, no doubt. But the best teams don't always win the Playoffs, especially with the shorter 5 game series. I kinda like Pinella, Bradley and Lee....and as an A's fan always felt baseball is shorted by Harden not staying healthy. If he could make 30-35 starts in a year he would be a top 3-5 pitcher in MLB no doubt each year.

I could see somewhere between 81-85 wins. The offense is simular to last year but the bullpen and starting rotation steps it up. Gallorado becomes good, real good, just not cy young

They were 2nd in wins in the NL in spring training... if that means anything.

Looks like bombs a plenty once again this year :thumbsup

Corey Hart has shaken off that slump for sure :stare

The cubs def. are the favorites to win the divison. I'm not just saying that b/c im a fan either. you look at last years team they lacked left handed starters, and another power bat. They got 2 more left handed starters in Bradley and Fontenot (i know he was with them last year but with DeRosa gone he's now the man at 2B) plus they got Miles who can play all INF pos. except 1B which he could prob. play if they needed him to. They also will have Houfpouir(sp?) who can play the corner OF and 1B. The only thing im worried about is the fact the Lou named Gregg as the closer and not Marmol, but the season hasn't started yet so he could still be the closer.

The brewers on the other hand have a lot of questions that still need to be answered esp. with their rotation and bullpen

I don't car how they do, I will still be going to as many games as I can. As long as the Yankees and Cubs fu*k up, I'm happy.
