I heard it doesen't really work. The cat may end up pissing everywhere all the time.

Yes you can do it... I've seen a lot of videos showing the cats do it. Pretty much the basic idea is you get a pan (like a sitz bath) put kitty litter in it, and train them to use that. After they're comfortable doing that you get rid of the litter and "hopefully" they keep going to that same spot. And some cats do flush... but that's more advanced training. And yes, depending on the cat... male/female... it can be messy.

Yeah, because sometimes (and I DO NOT know why they do this) as they pee, they stand up and do this weird little shimmying dance, thus peeing on everything. Which is why I bought them covered litter boxes. Imagine that on your toilet. No thanks.

Ugh.....too many, because of those nasty uncovered litter boxes......they used to have their boxes in our old bathroom, and everytime I was in there to do my hair, makeup, whatever, there was a cat in there, just peeing away........Gross.

Cat? Toilet? Just put that cat IN the toilet, then flush. Keep a plunger handy if the hairy POS is a bit stubborn. Eventually down it goes. MEEEEOOOOOWWWWWwwwwwwwww blub blub bulbbbbb....

Then give the rest of the litter, litter box, left over food, all toys, scratching posts, hairballs and other dried vomit to the crazy old bag with 50 cats that lives down the street. (Everybody has one, don't they?) Enjoy hair free, vomit free, way less noisy and smelly home.

I have 3 cats.....I love them.....but I don't necessarily think I'll get more when these ones die. Or any pets, for that matter.
