Yeah, I was wondering about that too Andy.... But if you read on, it says he tried selling it many times before, with nobody wanting to spend more than like 30K....so thats why he's only asking 28K for a 100K+ car...
Hell, I cant afford NOT to buy this !! :devil :rockwoot:

Sweet car but 28K IMO is a little much. General rule is avg. blue book + 1/2 price of mods. That is it. Even then you usually don't get that out of it. Christ its a stock block, not even a dart or merlin. I see tons of stangs that have 50K plus into them that are capable 10.0 sec or faster that usually fetch around 18-20K depending on how the fit and finish i.e. "show" is.

I'd rather have this Evil Turbo LS1 (http://www.quartermileperformance.com/project-formulation.asp) to start and go from there.

Correct me if I am wrong but that Turbo LS1 is the car everyone was blowing the :bsflag whistle at a couple of weeks ago isn't it?

BAH screw'em both, what fun is it to buy a car that is already modded for you? Part of the fun is building it right? Not to say they wouldn't be a blast to own and drive but I think people have more respect for you if you have some idea of what went into the making of you're ride IMO.

I challenge anyone to blow the whistle on the Turbo LS1 at the link shown above... The guy has posted updates on the car every few days and photos, timeslips, and videos.. people from the LS1Tech messageboard witnessed it first hand.. What more can someone need?

It's one of the most impressive projects I've seen in a very long time!!! I'm really astounded by what Rob Raymer did with that car. I only wish he would have left the stock motor in and put in a 12 bolt and went for 9s.
