Jimmy M'F johnson yours is to rich for my blood :thumbsup

My current computer that is shot was a E-machines that I bought in 00 or 01' during the Black friday deals, it has never given me any issues until a transformer last night blew up and now my PC doesn't turn on.

I don't know shit about computers just how to DL music look up porn and brows BCM :rolf

I'm not into Gaming or making movies and shit with my computer, again I only use it for the .net and DL music ever so often. I like to watch movies on hulu and shit.

So what do you have and how much are you asking ?

Right now I'm typing on a MAC Power Book G4 silver titanium that I may sell or trade ( I have to find out what this thing is worth )

Tigerdirect.com FTW
You can pick up a basic internet unit for $300

G4 power book could net you $3-400 on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Apple-PowerBook-G4-1-33-17_W0QQitemZ260381765617QQcmdZViewItemQQptZApple_L aptops?hash=item260381765617&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A13|39%3A1|240%3A1318)

I bought a new one and she still didn't turn on, one more thing I am going to try is replacing that little watch looking battery. Buddy said those can take a hit and cause problems.

Thanks for the links

Worth a try, but chances are the board is gone. I have an old Dell that I can part with as soon as the parts for my new home server arrive (should be sometime this week). It's a P4 2.26 w/1G RAM, ATI Radeon 9600XT video card, CD Burner, Network card, modem, etc... the usual stuff. I'm not sure what it has in it for hard drives... shows 180GB total space so that should be a 200GB drive. Has Windows XP Home on it as well. Probably faster than what you had, so if you don't want to go new, PM me if you want to talk price. I'll run a full diag on it before it goes out the door.

The CMOS battery on the motherboard even if bad won't prevent a system from powering on or POSTing. It's just there to hold the BIOS settings when power is disconnected. I have a few different systems here and a lot of spare parts to configure just about any way you want. I can definitely get you something in the $100-$250 range. PM me if you're interested.

I will have to pass on that, not that its not a good deal its that I don't have $500 to boot on a computer. I wouldn't spend that any ways if you would offer me just the computer minus the service.

A computer in my use is only for the .net and some music, so all of that fancy stuff on there is nothing to me.

If I were a geek I'm sure it would be a good deal

:thumbsup

Thanks for the offer
