Put it in the trash compactor and buy a new truck.

it means that there are codes stored related to your transmission.

Is it shifting hard now Wayne? Usually means a torque converter clutch slip.

just got back from my budddies garage,,,he had the right scanner...pulled a code of..
PO782
Dan, she shifts fine..no diff then any other day that i've driven her...that's why i was wondering about the flashing code light for the trans...maybe something is getting ready to blow or Deggy is going to want to drive the QUEER and crack it up...

2-3 gear shift malfunction, what does the fluid look like,is there anything that isnt working right shifting, speedo anything. either has a shift solenoid or poss valve body issue otherwise

PO782 could simply be an acumulator spring or solenoid.
Drop the pan and looks for "chunks n pieces", no pieces
its an ez test for solenoid, chunks put it together and clear
code to resell, takes 40 key cycles to clear otherwise.....

if the accumulator sping is broke it should have a diff shift feel tho right russ

the Queer shifts like it always has...my buddy cleared the code....who wants to take a look at it and fix it up for me...
don't want to sell it...it's a good truck otherwise...

My F-150 started doing that once and all I had to do was add some tranny fluid.
