Weekend trip to Washington D.C.

Greets from Washington D.C.!

Flew up here for the weekend to catch the the start of the National Cherry Blossom Festival and to hit a few sites I missed when I was here last June. All I have is my laptop with me (and I do not trust what I am looking at on this screen) so I will only post a few up and process the rest when I get home. 18gb worth of shots in a couple days.

Anyway, beautiful on Friday morning for the sunrise on the tidal basin then fog moved in but it made for some interesting shots. Then it was over to Arlington Cemetery. Today brought alot of clouds and cooler and a trip the the National Cathedral and access to the press area of the opening ceremonies. How that happened is quite funny but I will explain that later when I post the full catalog of photos.

Not sure what else I will be able to get shot wise before I fly out later tomorrow aft but we shall see.
