Does anyone know where you can drop off a old tv? I've got a 35" Mitsu monitor style that's got to go.
Best Buy will only take up to 32"
Thanks
Dave

Put it on craigslist, somebody will probably pay you for it.

My dad's TV console went and we got rid of it at the city of west allis ward yard. They didnt even charge him to dispose of it. Just give them a call and see if they take it.

Goodwill (or similar places) will NOT take non-HD TV's anymore.....:thumbsup

Make a sign that says "still works" and put it at the bottom of your neighbors driveway.

It will be gone before sundown and if the locals don't like it, you won't get in trouble for it.

West Allis city yard for the win! Dropped that monster in the hopper and away she went.

Yeah we tried giving away a 60" Projection that wasn't even that old and not a single charitable place would take it. Ronald McDonald House, Veterans, anything. All said the same thing, HD only.

Must be nice to be picky on your handouts

They also won't take computer related items, but just think about how many TVs would be dropped off there with the HUGE wave of new TVs being purchased. There was a electronics collection at State Fair a couple weeks ago and the mountain of sh!t was huge, people were coming one after another all day long.....:wooo

Goodwill has gotten greedy, its getting to the point where they are trying to be more of a retail store and not a second hand store.

I have been saying that for some time now, and it sucks because there used to be some really good deals there if you knew when to go.....:)
