View Full Version : Chicago Indoor Racing outing tomorrow (Sat). Need more people!!!

I know a lot of you have gone to this indoor gokart racing facility before, so I figured I'd put a post up about it.

I organized an outing for tomorrow (Sat. 28th) for like 30 people. I only OFFICIALLY committed to a minimum of 15, but I've had almost half the people cancel already. I'm down to 16!!

Anyone interested in going?

This is our 2nd outing, so the cost will be $60/person. The top 10 finishers of the group will get to race in a championship race, and we all opted for the consolation race afterwards too, so then positions 11-20 will get to race in a 'secondary' championship race. Anyone over position 20 will only get their guaranteed 3 races.

Anyone up for it?
Our time slot starts at 1pm. We're meeting at the college ave. park and ride at 11:30, and heading down to buffalo grove from there, which should take about an hour if we don't get caught up in traffic.

That sucks that people have cancelled. Did you get money from them up front? That's what I did when I set the event up. Forced them to commit.

Sorry I wont be able to come. I have to work in the morning but by the time I would get down there it would be 1:30-2.
