I need to get insurance on a 2200sq ft unit of a building I lease. Is it like a renters insurance or what? never done this sort of a thing so I need some help. where do I start and who should I go through? all the help I can get is apprecited.

i would think its just like renters insurance.. call the peeps that you have your vehicle insurance threw they would be able to help you out..i got renters insurance on the condo that me and the lady rent..along with car insurance with statefarm.. my renters is 110 a year...i save 160 a year for haveing "multi line" so it pays for itself and them some..

as for how much it will be that all depends on how much coverage you need. depends on what your keeping in the building and what your useing it for.
