Willow Run B-24 Plant

If you have a little time, check this out. Willow Run plant where B-24s were cranked from (one of the locations). Our former industrial might amazes me...once serial production of something started it was like a floodgate opened. I dig the crates of R-2800s with Ford emblem on them and "Made in the USA". Hope you enjoy as much as I did. Many slides, but worth it IMO. The photos after #200 showing the production line are awesome.

they have one pics of the gliders that they used to make up in Iron Mountain, MI at the old ford plant up there. They just took the smoke stacks from that plant down not too long ago.
