I just picked up a Civic for a DD and want to get into motorcycle road racing this summer. I really don't want to sell it since its so clean but you can't have everything, right.

Lets start with some history. I bought the car from Honda Superstore of Lisle, IL last July after i graduated college for engineering. It was so clean i was amazed. I went back the next weekend and bought it. When i got it there wasn't a single mark on the exterior or interior and it was BONE STOCK with 24k miles on it. Including the stock A046 tires. This alone will tell you the car has never been beat on/ tracked.

After i bought the car i added the megan exhaust and intake. Later i got the stri boost, egt and AEM wideband to make sure everything was where it was suppose to be. I then added the halman boost controller and walbro fuel pump. Boost was set to 21 psi and tuned by TTP. This is as the car sits now. I have every stock part that i took off the car. It curently has 36,xxx miles on it, i put on a lot of HWY miles between MN and sothern WI due to job interviews and whatnot.

The car is almost flawless and would make an excelent show car. It has 1 very light door ding under the pass side mirror that would pop out easily i'm sure. I am very anal about my cars, you can't even see it unless the sun is shining on it and are looking from the right angle. Not even sure how it happened since i always park 100 yards out or on the end spot over the line.

The second thing, there is a small scuff, maybe 1 inch long and 1/4 inch tall on the driver side seat. My stupid self left work with a caliper in my back pocket and the jaws scratched the leather a bit. Again, a very minor flaw but that's how i am, man was i pissed when that happened.

Other than those two things it is very clean, sure there may be a couple rock chips but the 3m clear bra held off most of those.

It is on Blizzac tires right now but i will be putting on the star specs i had on it last summer, they are 70% from what i remember. The wheels have a few scratches on them on the back side of the lip due to the morons who mounted the tires. They have never been curbed and you can't really see the paint missing on the wheel.

Last summer i did one HPDE day at BIR short course and one auto-x, that was the first time i did anything like that so i was not pushing the car at all. I can gauranty that those are the 2, and only, times the car has ever seen any spirited driving. Car drives like new and the clutch works great, no launching. Car was re aligned when new tires were installed last summer.

Sorry for the book, but i just want to convey how great of shape this car is in.

I'm looking for $20,000 as the car sits or $19,000 back to stock.

May trade for M6 LS1 car plus at least 10k cash depending on the car. No other trades!!!

Carfax is clean, the paint is all original, its just the lighting on that one pic. It is kind of washed out due the the sun, just thought it was a cool pic showing the lines of the car. KBB is as follows:

Excellent: 20,500
Good: 19,450
Poor: 18,100

I know less than 5% of vehicles fall into the "excellent" condition rating but i really believe mine does. It is also the SSL model which is pretty rare. I don't really have to sell the car but i think it is price pretty well for its condition, its getting harder to find a clean non beat to sht evo.
