Anyone know a place that will appraise a car for insurance reasons (incase of accident or theft) so you can get what you have into the car.

i didn't know if you can still do that if you get limited to miles or anything like that or if they only do it for some cars.

thanks.

thinking of doing Liz's 240sx.

i just know alot of insurance companies won't cover the car for more then blue book unless you have the car appraised.

Valenti Classics does appraisals, although I'm not sure if its only Classic cars or not.

You can get need custom part/aftermarket insurance. Most of the companies will offer it.

However, in most cases you wont be able to cover everything you have. The highest protection my carrier offered was 4k, so that's what I have and IIRC its like $83 every 6 months.

It will help if someone brakes in an takes some parts, but it won't help if the whole car gets stolen. :(
