Damn deer. Hit it on hwy 83 between I94 and hwy 16. Damage is minor. Needs new bumper cover and grill, maybe a headlight. Insurance is covering the repair, minus my $500 deduc. Insurance is state farm.

What is a good body shop to have it repaired at? I'm in Delafield, but I don't mind driving to drop it off somewhere good. Is Fisco's (sp?) good? Manders (sp?)?

Did you hit it with your Audi? Take it to an Audi dealer so you get OEM parts.

Yes. In the audi. I was thinking of going to IA, but I haven't heard anything about their body shop.

IA does not have a bodyshop IIRC. They outsource to Leonards I think, somewhere off 110th and Wisconsin Ave.

Mander does great work, as does ABRA, and a few of the guys on here as well!

You have quite a few choices fortunately!

Did you get his insurance information? I hear a lot of deer are running around without insurance.

it was probably running away from a wolf that the insurance companies pushed the Wisconsin dnr to repopulate Wisconsin with.

Yeah Leonards does alot of the higher end cars. I used to work right next door to them, so when my old truck got messed up I had them do the work, turned out really well and they were willing to let me sub in aftermarket parts where I wanted to(grill, head lights,....) I would deff recomned them to anyone.

I work for Abra, if you go there I would recomend the Brookfield shop on Barker. They do more cars like that. Mainly BMW, Lexus, Mercedes and Jaguars. And they do use oem too.

That is a dangerous area from what I hear. I talked to a Delafield cop that had a near miss that he showed me on his dash cam. No useful input on where to take your car though.
