Hey...how do you siphon gas out of a tank?? Not doing anything illegal lol, just discovered that one of my cars has a leaking tank, so I ordered a beautiful brand new one, problem is, the old one is full of gas.......I would like to remove as much as possible before taking it off. So......how do I do so? Thanks.

put a hose in the tank hope its an old enough tank with out a ball in the neck to stop stealing of gas lol then just suck till u see the gas coming and put in bucket lower than tank and gravity should do it



or u can get an electric pump and run it off ur gas line up by motor into said container either way should work

What kind of car? If there's an inline filter just undo that and let gravity do the work.

Stick a piece of gas hose in the tank connect it to a a 5 gallon bucket. put a slit in the hose towards the bottome of the gas hose (closer to the bucket). Stick a air compressor hose with the blowoff handle in towards the 5 gallon bucket. Hit lever. Its basically the same as sucking it to get it started without the dryheaving and oily taste. This works Seriously

I'm a bit late to the party, but I have a 12VDC gas pump in my office. We did a job for a guy and he sent (2) and we only built him one unit, so I got a spare pump. It pumps 5 GPM.
