im not sure if maybe i have my receiver wired up wrong, but i have to turn the thing nearly all the way up to get any volume out of it. theres only 3 things hooked up into it... my dvd player, the xbox and my cable box. it never used to be this way.

Is there like a Mute function that you may accidently hit?

I would try restoring it to factory settings.

You can press three buttons at the same time to reset the remote completely:

- AV I/O
- I/O
- MASTER VOL + or -

If you press and hold these three together, it resets the remote to factory defaults.

alright... reset the unit, but its still barely louder than the TV... i wonder if it does have something to do with how its hooked up... cause when i turn up the tv, the tv and the unit get louder. hmm.
