I picked this up at a thrift store for $49.95 the other day. It powers up and the scope goes into test mode so I feel a bit better about it.

I doubt anyone under 40 will really care about it but the rest will all come running to me when they have to set the points on their Nash!

Heck, I'd probably still use it. The dwell, tachometer, and vacuum gauge are all very pertinent. Does the carbon monoxide meter still work?

I remember working in an auto garage in 1997 where they still had one of those. At the time, I knew very little about working on cars, but I had a keen interest in the machine.

I'd say that one in ten cars that came through for major service were hooked up to that machine. If you think about it, I guess that meant that %10 of the cars on the road were still carbureted at the time.

It's a CB650 that came with the Accord EX next to it. I scored them both for free last year. The brother of an ex co worker owned them and is in the joint for a few years. Who knew that manufacturing and selling LSD was illegal!

He is getting me the titles for them both and I should have them soon.
