I posted a thread a while back asking for some help to do my timing belt on my Acura. A couple people sent me PMs and offered help and hgBen even tried to do it for me on a Saturday before we realized that you need the right tool to get the harmonic balancer off.

So Coop took it into Andrew Toyota for me and had the timing belt, water pump, accessory belts and plugs done for me...

Total price for labor - $170

The car runs A LOT better now and breaks 'em loose hard into 2nd and a chirp into 3rd. Not bad for a DD :)

Thanks Coop!

$170 for work that Acura wanted over $700 for... that's a deal in my book.

With a cheap repair like that I hope somebody gets a nice tip/free beer/hookers <---- clean ones not the norf side dirty ones.

I can/will help all my Friends on Brew City Muscle. Being at my place of emplyment as long as I have gets me a bit more help from my boss. He feels like I do, you always have to help friends, make enough to cover expenses and such but help friends. He is a full blooded car guy to and understands as do I.
