Saw it on the news about using your check card to gain change back towards Wisconsin based colleges. Anyone know wtf I am talking about? I read their site but was looking to see if anyone has signed up with them at all.

We are doing ED VEST which is Wis 529 program. Jean is in charge of this whole thing. I don't know whats involved other then she said we need to take care of the kids.

We cant take the money when we die so we are giving it to the grand kid this way.

a friend of mine uses it as well. It's actually kind of cool. Nice way to earn some money back on what you are already spending anyways!

Is it still 1% except on a select few things? You can get a regular creditcard that returns that or better and then you can put it in a MMA and get some decent interest on it. Then it isn't tied up in a 529. I get about $25/month back on my Chase card without trying too hard.
