Anyone do pool work? Filter, paint, etc..?

Trying to have our in ground pool looked at. I think the filter just needs the stuff inside replaced? Also we need it painted which I think I'll do myself. Just need to find the right stuff.

Most inground pools have sand filters. What is the problem with it? If it needs to be replaced, a shop vac is the way to remove it. The sand is special and should be purchased from a pool store. If you want me to look at it, send me a PM. I am free after 7:00am weekdays in South Milwaukee. Mike
