Hello all hoping some one can help out with a small problem. I have a 94 mustang with a 5.0 and I put a edelbrock upper and lower intake and when i got to the point of pressure checking the cooling system i found that the t stat housing was leaking. So i tore it apart and checked the gasket found nothing abnormal, put a new gasket on with alittle silicone and reinstalled. And same thing Tore it apart again bought a new t stat housing and gasket and put it back together again with that copper spray gasket crap recommended by edelbrock. And to no avail still leaks like a bastard! Thanks in advance.

A little time to cure always helps as well.

make sure the 'stat is in the groove, on the correct side of the gasket and ain't falling out of the groove while installing.
