I own a 87 eldorado that is having problems with the digital reading output. I'll be driving down the road and all my digital readings go out and I get a "engine control system" light pop up. I dont know how fast I'm going or anything. I took the car to the caddy dealership and after 2 1/2 hrs waiting they found out that it needs the instrument cluster removed and sent out for repairs. They said its gonna cost $600+ cuz they have to rebuild it and figure out the problem. I talked to my dad and he said that I should look online for an instrument cluster and see how much it is instead of sending it out for repairs. So now I need help finding a cluster. So if anyone knows were I can find one please help! :thumbsup

suck it up buttercup, call some junkyards, thats about all you can do for a 20+ year old caddy.
You should see if your pops or someone will tear down your cluster and check all the solder joints.
